Sometimes you just have to go where your inspiration tells you to go.
Today I felt in artistic mood, and decided to combine it with a little game of chance. In a small plate I poured milk, just enough to cover the bottom. After that I put a few drops of red wine in it. And a few more on top of that. A bit of mixing with a toothpick, and I got nice swirls all over the plate. After a few tries, I repeated a process, until I got a pattern I liked.
This is interesting thing to do even if you do not take a photo. Try it if you have leftover wine waiting for you in the fridge. :)
For those who are more technically oriented, milk was Western Family 2%, while wine was Cantina Zaccagnini "dal tralcetto". Lighting was provided by one of my soft boxes set on one side.
