Work place is usually a ghost town during the holiday season, and today is not an exception.
Not that I'm complaining, but I think they are all wrong.
If you want to goof off - now is the time to do it!
If you want to work hard - now is best, no interruption time to catch up.
If you want to work on your own project - now is the low demand on your time and great time to focus on it.
Either way - I'd hate to waste my vacation days on December unless I traveled somewhere South enjoying the sunshine. That is a good reason not to be here. :)
